Barbara Savin is a Certified Clinical & Medical Hypnotherapist, Energy Healing Specialist, visualization and meditation instructor, and author who has excelled in many business settings throughout her career.  

From the time she was 18 years old, Barbara's career has been focused heavily on Health Care in various forms.  She worked as a sales representative for Blue Cross, and managed employee benefits for the staff at Roosevelt Hospital in New York City. As a former Regional Sales Director with General Nutrition Center, she won the Regional Director of the Year award for three consecutive years. 

From 1994 through 1996 Barbara owned Enzyme Process New York, a successful vitamin and supplement distribution company that serviced independent chiropractors, doctors and their patients.  In 1996, she designed and formulated a line of nutritional supplements for Natural Nutrition Centers.  Possessing a thorough knowledge of vitamins and supplements, Barbara was the creative developer of many formulations for Creative Health & Spirit Products, Inc.  

With expertise in sales and natural healing, Barbara's skills have contributed to Fortune 500 and healthcare companies, as well as small businesses.  Barbara has provided dynamic sales leadership and innovative marketing concepts for product development, from concept to marketplace.

Barbara has always had a profound and true entrepreneurial spirit, and her greatest passion has always been to help people. Her mission is to provide people with the knowledge and skills that will enable them to live healthier lives through the use of preventive and natural health care.

Barbara's compassion for others has grown in part due to her own health challenges.  In 1996, she developed painful arthritis and began to experience difficulty walking.  In her determination to heal herself, she began researching new avenues of healing with the use of nutritional supplements and natural healing.  As a result of applying what she learned, Barbara's arthritis has since disappeared.

From that time on she has devoted her life and career to energy healing in the following specialized and professional areas: Natural Healthcare Practitioner, Certified Energy Healing Specialist, Magnified Healing Master/Teacher, Certified Clinical & Medical Hypnotherapist, Certified Prana Psychotherapist Practitioner, Certified Reiki Master/Teacher, Certified Guided Imagery Instructor and Healing Touch certification Level I.  Barbara is also a Member of the National Guild for Hypnotherapists and the American Board of Hypnotherapy.

Summary of Experiences

Barbara has spent the last few years serving as a 'consultant' for people seeking transformation in their personal and professional lives. The main areas in which she has worked with clients are:  self-evolution/personal growth, communication skills, conflict resolution, team building, and relationships. Once these skills are firmly in place in her clients' personal lives, she then helps them to incorporate the same skill-set into their careers.

Barbara has provided natural healing for self-empowerment at Island Women's Medical Center with Dr. Harriet Stathakos, Dr. Lucia Colletti, & Psychologist Janice Earl; The Body Sanctuary; Body Mind Spirit Center with Dr Sharon Norling; and the California Health & Longevity Institute with Dr Philip Barr. She has taught healing classes at Panacea, an Integrative Treatment Center and seminars for Body Mind Spirit Center, California Health & Longevity Institute, Four Seasons Hotels, and for WellPoint.

Philanthropic Contributions

Barbara has provided Reiki healing and hypnotherapy for the Staten Island AIDS Task Force, Dr. Richard Bailey Seton Hospital AIDS Division, St. Vincent's Catholic Medical Hospital, Mt. Manresa Wellness Retreat, La Tourette Golf Course, Dolphin and Nautilus gyms and at Relax on Cloud Nine Wellness Spa at the Hilton Hotel in New York City. 

After the disaster in New York City on September 11, 2001 Barbara volunteered healing sessions for firefighters and other survivors of the Trade Center tragedy.

Barbara has also provided healing hypnotherapy sessions for The Rotary Club, Professional Business Women's Clubs, and St. Peter's High School; and held healing seminars at La Tourette Golf course. 

Barbara has volunteered for Ladies Who Launch with Vicky Rathje at the cancer fair; Cancer Health with Shelley Kramer at Universal Marriott; and Marsh Engle Envision Network.

She has appeared on Healthylife.net Creative Health & Spirit radio show, Peter Greenberg Worldwide Radio, and The Marsh Engle Show on Voice America Business.

Business Experience

Currently, Barbara is the Clinical Hypnotherapist and Healing Touch Specialist with the California Health & Longevity Institute, Inc., associated with the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel in Westlake Village, California.

Now, more than ever, people are realizing the benefits of integrating complementary and alternative therapies with conventional medical care.  Barbara helps many hotel guests with the use of Medical Hypnotherapy, Energy Healing Touch, Meditation and Breathing Therapy. Her goal at California Health & Longevity Institute, Inc. is to help people through the use of preventive and natural health care methods.

Barbara also serves as a Clinical Hypnotherapist and Healing Touch Specialist with Mind Body Spirit Center at "The Landing" in Westlake Village, California.  It is owned and operated by well-known and respected Dr. Sharon Norling. 

Barbara also works with many other psychologists and corporations, helping their clients and employees to ease pain and illness, dissolve blockages and live healthier lives.

Training and Certification Programs

Barbara offers programs in Energy Healing and Gentle Energy Touch, a combination of Reiki and Prana energy healing, for levels one and two as well as Master/Teacher level; Energy Protection Techniques to help you reclaim your energy; Directing Your Energies for Positive Results with Affirmations; Mindful Meditation Living in the Moment; and Appreciation and Gratitude seminars.

She also provides individualized energy healing treatments as well as clinical and medical hypnotherapy, visualization/meditation, spiritual enlightenment and counseling.  The courses are based on a holistic approach to promote healing of the body, mind and spirit.  The material can be incorporated at the professional level, but also used for self-awareness and self-healing.

January 2007 to present - Barbara was hired as a consultant for the new innovative property, "California Health & Longevity Institute, Inc." which was founded through partnership between Mr. David H. Murdoch, chairman and sole owner of Dole Food Company, Inc, WellPoint, Inc-Anthem, the nation’s largest healthcare provider, and renowned geneticist Andrew Conrad, Ph.D., and is managed by the Four Seasons in Westlake Village, California.
